Heat network in Sant Pere de Torelló

Installation of a Binder biomass boiler that will provide heating and energy efficiency to the entire urban area. The company SURIS S.L. has proceeded to launch the 4MW BINDER boiler that will allow to increase energy efficiency and expand the supply network by 20% in the urban center of Sant Pere de Torelló. The municipality of Sant Pere de Torelló was one of the first places in Spain where a district heating facility was performed more than 30 years ago. As a pioneering bioenergy village, it has already renovated its facilities for energy supply with the BINDER RRK4000 biomass boiler. In Sant Pere de Torelló and its surroundings, there is an important industry, a wood industry that generates abundant waste. With the new boiler they will use forest biomass that comes from a maximum of 50 km from the municipality to try to achieve maximum energy efficiency.

Biomass network for thermal use in the Recinto de Presidencia, Castilla y León

REBI carries out a new implementation of HERZ boilers in the Presidencia de la Junta de Castilla y León in Valladolid. The facility has three HERZ firematic 500 kW boilers, and a total power of 1,500 kW to supply eight buildings of the institutional complex. The new heat network is an opportunity to improve cities like Valladolid to also be responsible for compliance with the reduction of CO₂ emissions required by the European directive 2018/844 and for the implementation of a sustainable energy model for energy efficiency. The project has been carried out by the company Termosun.

Installation of a heat network in Cantalejo

District Heating to provide domestic hot water and heating services to 9 buildings in the town of Cantalejo. Installation of a Binder RRK1000 boiler, which provides 1,200 kW of thermal power connected to a buffer tank with a capacity of 30,000 liters, to supply domestic hot water and heating to various buildings in the town of Cantalejo, Segovia. The project consists of the construction of a production plant and heating network that provides service to nine buildings, which are: the Pinar nursing home, the house of the Hermanos de San Juan de Dios, the heated municipal swimming pool, the Instituto de Educación Secundaria “Hoces del Duratón”, the Sol street sports center, the Colegio de Educación Infantil y Primaria “Los Arenales”, the Civil Guard Barracks, the “JoseRodao” cultural center and the municipal sports hall. With this action, Cantalejo’s commitment to renewable energy is evident. The project has been carried out by the company Termosun.

Biomass heat network in Bergedans

Biomass to supply domestic hot water and heating in Bergedans. Installation of 13 boilers with power capacity from 45 kW to 1,000 kW to supply DHW and heating to 32 buildings in 6 towns in the region of Berguedà, Bagà Saldes, Gòsol, Cercs, La Pobla de Lillet and Berga (Catalunya). The Mancomunitat dels Berguedans project has a total of 4,500 kW installed, which comes from 7 installations and 7 heat networks with a total of 5 km of pipelines. The foreseen consumption of biomass is 1,200 t / year of forest chips, coming from the forests in the cities that are part of this project. Work done by company Urbaser.
